2008 - Finally! A prediction can be viewed as a truth, which can be defined as what we believe to be true for us, for mankind and the credo by which we live.  That is why I have always thought it of the utmost importance, in my work as a “reader”, to present my truths as clearly my own. At the risk of appearing to be hedging my predictions, I want to emphasize that these “truths” I represent here are like a snapshot in time through the shutter of my personal lens.  Events unfold, to a large extent, based upon the attitudes and intentions of the very moment in time from which they are perceived.  These events are subject to change thanks to the concept we know as “free-will” and we are often able to change the details in a moment’s notice.  These predictions are also filtered through my own imperfect consciousness, because, after all, only the Source is infallible.  I say these things in an attempt to educate the less informed who might follow man’s word (any man/woman’s word) as Truth.  I also risk criticism by skeptics in doing so.  I take pride in being courageous enough state this viewpoint to, not only my clients, but also the readers of this article. Now, on to 2008 predictions…..,.. Well, boy and girls, it’s payback time….Spiritually speaking.  That’s right, the one thing that stands above everything else in 2008 is the old adage about “reaping as we have sown.”  So, if you’ve been doing your SPIRITUAL work, listening to that small voice and going for the highest and best in everything, congratulations, 2008 is going to be a very good year!  I probably don’t need to illustrate the opposite since those who have not done their work wouldn’t get it anyway. This good news is all the result of that nasty holding pattern we’ve all been in for a few years; the one that forced us to dig deep and clean out, or at least examine, our Spiritual houses.  Well, the pipelines are clearing out and 2008 looks like there will be lots of movement.  Hopefully, you’re one of the ones moving forward.  Lots of you will be! Now, this Spirituality is not to be confused with the religious fervor we see so publicized by the media of late.  My Guides, when questioned, tell me they do not refer to Religion and, in fact, discuss it in a non-spiritual light. I asked their take on RELIGION in 2008.   They tell me they perceive it as humankind’s work; a job, essentially.  They say the work of Religion is in a self-destructive trend.  After all, things can only survive in such imbalance for so long, they comment.  They say the work of Religion has been the separation of the male from the female (not talking gender here but Yin/Yang).  We see this in all aspects of life as well as in emotional imbalances such as Bi-Polar issues on the rise.  They tell me that this separation of the female aspect has served the purpose of allowing that aspect to heal past injuries while even in a state of oppression.  Sadly, they share with me a lacking in that healing/growth process.  Apparently, greater participation is needed, especially from the female gender itself.  Many have attempted to regain their Spiritual equality by mimicking male dominance practices.  This is not the way.  There is a female strength that goes deeper.  After all, the Eternal Feminine is the Creator of Life.  But I run long, and need to get to those “predictions” that everyone is asking about: 2008 ELECTIONS: - Democrats seem to be chanting Clinton/Obama in 2008 - Republicans nominate Huckabee and he brings along a relative unknown from his Evangelical camp as running mate - Edwards and Biden are the Democratic candidates with the least amount of “smoke and mirrors” in play.  This serves Edwards well who ends up close to the White House in a political appointment of some kind. - Once elected, it will be a tumultuous Presidency for the first female in the White House and Hilary and Barak pay a large political price for beginning to pull out the troops.  I worry about this.  Not all troops come home and we stay mired down in issues with Iran for a couple of years yet. - TERRORISM comes into our backyard again with some concerns both here and abroad about car bombings. - The ECONOMY improves with 2008 and the coming of a new political administration.  Make hay while the sun shines because it only lasts a few years. - A Breast Cancer CURE sits on the shelf as its advocates fight big money to get it to the market more quickly.  It will only be introduced slowly as that same big money fears for loss of revenue in the big business of treating cancer.  Horrifying. - TRAVEL seems okay, in general.  But be very, very sure to get your shots if going to countries where that is recommended and it might be better just to stay out of those areas all together.   In any case, keep those immune systems humming as best you can.
